Anyone have a student example of an unboxing video using any of these ideas? Some of my Marketing students are struggling with the idea of the unboxing video of what they learned.

What are the legal implications for having students create videos (showing their faces) to be posted on a class youtube channel? Any insight on this?

In reply to Lyn. When ever I share a video I preview it and create either a scaffold for note taking or a quiz with question in chronological order. I show students how to turn on the Closed Caption option. Also let students pause and/or repeat the video as much as they need. This helps the ELL students and helps build scholastic skills. Oh students find they remember more the important content in the video. A lesson worth remembering.

I have made many shop videos for students. It is a Wood Shop class and the online course work includes power tools safety videos. The videos in the in the course do not use the exact same model as my student will use at their high school shop. I walk student through the part vocabulary, features and safety of each power tool in the shop. I cross walk the information in the tool quiz with the tool they will use in their wood shop. I have purchased with my own funds a camera that can do closeups with high resolution. I am able to share with the whole class an up close view never availble to students before. I feel it deepens the students understanding of how the machine operates.
